A partner in the web development firm Schwa for six years, Eric is among the most prominent web developers in the world - he is the first person mentioned when searching Google for "CSS", a core web technology, and helped usher in the era of CSS page layouts by offering information and free CSS templates on his personal website, glish.com.
Eric co-authored the upcoming Dynamic HTML Bible, as well as the recently published Cascading Style Sheets: Separating Content From Presentation (2002, Glasshaus). He is a member of the Web Standards Project's steering committee, and the developer for the 5K Contest. Prior to leading the development of the Game Neverending prototype Eric built the front end of the MEETUP.com community site.
